At Mid Cities Dental, we are wishing that your 2018 has started off well and hope that the year brings you joy, happiness and peace! As your dental health care provider, our vision is to give you the best dental experience possible! We consider you a part of our extended family and want to help you in all of your dental needs. We enjoy seeing you and getting to know your families. Here are some of the upcoming changes at Mid Cities Dental this year.
New Year, New Changes
Goodbye to Dr. Mulcahy
To begin this new year, we have some big changes coming to Mid Cities Dental! Dr. Christina Mulcahy, whom we all love, has moved back home to Iowa to be closer to her parents so that her baby son, Carter, can grow up near his grandparents. She will be practicing dentistry with her father whom owns a private practice. He will eventually retire and she will take over his practice. Although we are sad to see her go, we are excited about her bright future. We truly appreciated the fine dentistry and care that she gave to our patients over the last four and a half years. She will be missed!
Welcome Dr. Patel
We are very excited to welcome Dr. Bijal Patel. She will join our staff in February. Dr. Patel is a dentist who was born and raised in New Jersey. She is a graduate of Seton Hall University and Tufts University of Dental Medicine. She’s been practicing for 4 years. Dr. Patel completed her General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York. She has experience in dental emergencies, pediatrics, surgical extractions, laser dentistry, root canal treatments, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and the restoration of implants. She is also Nitrous Oxide certified and Invisalign certified. We are thrilled to have her in our office! She brings diverse treatment experiences to our patients of all ages, as well as a caring and understanding personality. At Mid Cities Dental we will continue to give our patients the utmost care they deserve, which will be accomplished by Dr. Patel.
Retiring: Pamela Ludwick
We are also announcing that Pamela Ludwick, our hygienist that has worked with us for 25 years, and whom many of you know, not just as their hygienist but as a friend, is retiring. She has been one of our most valued employees and we will sorely miss her, but we know she is going to enjoy the retired life!
New Staff: Amy & Jillian
In addition to our staff, Mid Cities Dental has welcomed hygienists, Amy Kim, RDH and Jillian Sikes RDH. They are experienced, gentle, and outstanding hygienists who hold the highest standards that are expected by our patients. Our new insurance coordinator and front desk administrator is Daisy Hernandez and Tricia Bublitz. Also, Wendy Jackson, RDA has joined our office as a dental assistant to work alongside Mailoan who has been with us for 17 years.
