What is 6 Stones and how are they a catalyst of hope? 6 Stones has created a coalition of businesses, nonprofits, churches, and other entities that have come together to help meet the needs of the Texas communities in Hurst, Euless, Bedford, and Everman.
6 Stones Programs Include:
- New Hope Center – a center for families to find emergency assistance with food, clothes, and more 209 N. Industrial Blvd, Bedford, TX, 76021 Mondays 10:00 am-1:00 pm, Tuesdays 3:00 pm-6:00 pm, Wednesdays 10:00 am-1:00 pm, Saturdays 9:00 am-12:00 noon
- Community Powered Revitalization (CPR) – helps struggling homeowners with repairs
- Operation Back 2 School – Supplying disadvantaged students with supplies and resources
- Night of Hope – Sharing the joy of Christmas with over 3,500 deserving children and families
- They also have a Community Garden, Food Share Partners, HEB Transit Vouchers, Mobile Food Bank, Intramural Soccer Program, Black and Blue Food Drive, North Texas Giving Day and more

“About 10% of the community lives in poverty. In Tarrant County, that’s about 25%. Consequently, we spend a lot of time talking about how to make an impact on our community. How can we address those needs? The reality is we spend a lot of time at 6 Stones talking about how to motivate the other 90% of our community to help out the poor in our community and meet their needs. Over the course of time, we have found that is how you can transform a community.
We all come together to form working relationships and collaborate together. We talk about needs and solutions. Then execute those solutions together. Basically, we’ve found that this thing isn’t just a coalition anymore, it becomes a platform. Everyone has a part of the conversation and now we all have that common goal together. Consequently, other communities are looking to us for help to duplicate the same thing.”
