Dr. Eberlein is the owner of a private practice. He works with over 3,500 active patients and employs two dentists and 9 employees.  Mid Cities Dental Office treats patients in all aspects of dentistry including dental cosmetics, dental prosthetics, dental implants,  restorative dentistry, dental orthodontics, dental endodontics, and dental surgery. The office treats the whole family, from the ages 3 and up.

United Indian Health Service       1998-2000

Smith River, California
Dr. Eberlein was a primary dentist treating the United Indian Health Service of California.  He treated all ages of patients which included hospital dentistry for children in need of total anesthesia and full mouth dental rehabilitation.  He treated patients in all aspects of preventative, restorative, and emergency dentistry.

Dr. Eberlein supported community health within the county treating children and adults in all aspects of general dentistry.  He was a primary care provider for dental emergencies for the indigent and uninsured who had no provisions for taking care of their dental health.

Dr. Eberlein was a member of a group practice with three General Dentists and one Oral Surgeon in the Navy. He provided all facets of general dentistry including minor oral surgery consisting of partially impacted, tissue-impacted third molars, and tissue biopsies. He had experience in simple periodontal surgery and experience in minor tooth movement.

He planned and managed classroom education for children ages 7 -12, contacting over 600 children and 800 adults. He planned and implemented the Dental Education Health Fair at the local community elementary schools and child care centers. He conducted quarterly code blue emergency care training for 35 personnel over a 2-year period. He had weekly in-house continuing education seminars covering all subjects of general dentistry and emergency medicine.

U.S. Navy Mobile Construction Battalion, Five    1992 – 1994

Dr. Eberlein was in the independent duty position as the sole dental provider to 600+ military personnel.  He completed a tour that included deployment to outlying clinics in Okinawa, Japan, and Puerto Rico. He coordinated and participated in four mass casualty drills emphasizing Basic Life Support and CARE flights to local area hospitals.

General Practice Residency, U.S. Naval Hospital      1991 – 1992

Dr. Eberlein was selected as a dental resident from a very competitive national pool. He completed rotations in oral surgery, prosthetics operative dentistry, dental periodontics, emergency medicine, and anesthesiology.  He was on-call in the hospital every fourth night and responsible for admissions, diagnosis, and emergency treatment for all patients with basic dental emergencies and traumatic injuries including lacerations, and hard and soft tissue trauma. He has experience in dental forensics exams. He had continuing education in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Combat Casualty Care Training.

Commissioned Officer Student Training Extern Program: Public Health Service, Valleywide Health Services, Alamosa, Colorado       1990
Dr. Eberlein was elected for a two-month training program in comprehensive dental care directed toward migrant workers in the San Luis Valley. The position included health educational programs covering the adverse effects of tobacco use, preventive dental education and screenings, and the clinical placement of dental sealants at local elementary schools.
